A day in the house
Thirty-eight affordable homes in warm brick, with deep window reveals that throw a long shadow in summer.
Thirty-eight homes for a former brickworks site, built from the same red clay the site used to make.
Every home has two aspects, so every home gets both morning and evening sun. The rows step down the slope so no garden sits in its neighbour's shadow at midday in March.

Reveals are a full brick deep. At noon in summer the glass is entirely in shade.
