Architecture and interiors

Rooms that know where the sun is.

A small studio drawing houses, homes and public rooms around one thing everybody shares: daylight.

The studio

We start every project by watching the light for a whole day.

Before a single line, we sit on the site from first light to dusk. Where the morning lands, where the afternoon gets too hot, which corner stays bright in winter. Then we draw rooms that follow it, so the people inside feel the time of day without looking at a clock.

01 / 07:00

Listen

A morning on site with you. We listen to how you live or work, and watch where the light comes from.

02 / 10:00

Sketch

Loose drawings and sun studies. Three directions on paper, so you can choose with your hands, not with jargon.

03 / 13:00

Model

A card model under a lamp that moves like the sun. You see every room at every hour before it costs a brick.

04 / 16:00

Build

Drawings for permits and builders, and one of us on site every week until the roof is on.

05 / 19:00

Live in

We come back after the first year, at dusk, to see what the house became. Small fixes are on us.

Who draws

“A good room changes its mood four times a day. We only draw the walls that let it.”
